CHICAGO, IL – A 29-year-old Chicago father Jontae Adams was shot and injured and his 7-year-old daughter was killed as they waited in line at a McDonald’s drive-thru.
The shooting happened Sunday afternoon at around 4:18 pm in Holman Square. Witnesses claim two gunmen gun out of the car and began shooting into the car with Adams and his daughter inside.
Police arrived on scene and rushed the young girl for treatment, but she was pronounced dead. Her father remains in critical condition. Witnesses were horrified and in shock when they learned of the death of the baby as police tended to both victims.
