College Park man wins $100k in lottery on ticket sold at Silver Spring gas station

More than a full tank of gas was waiting for a Prince George’s County scratch-off player at Casablanca Sunoco in Silver Spring. The lucky player picked up a $10 Terrific 10s instant ticket that carried a $100,000 top prize!

While not matching any of the winning numbers on the scratch-off, the College Park resident did reveal a 10x symbol over a $10,000 prize to win $100,000.

The Montgomery County retailer that sold the winning instant ticket also has a reason to celebrate. Casablanca Sunoco located at 8875 Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a $100,000 top-prize winning scratch-off.

Many prizes remain on the Terrific 10s scratch-off including three more $100,000 top prizes, seven unclaimed $20,000 prizes, six unclaimed $10,000 prizes and more than 330,000 prizes ranging from $10 to $1,000.
