36-year-old arrested two days after Allegany County court issued bench warrant
CUMBERLAND, MD – A Cumberland woman was jailed without bond Thursday after police arrested her on a newly issued warrant alleging she violated probation connected to a previous burglary conviction.
Kerri Michelle Fisher, 36, was arrested by the Cumberland Police Department on an active Allegany County District Court bench warrant.
The warrant had been issued Tuesday.
According to police, it alleges Fisher violated the terms and conditions of probation stemming from her prior burglary conviction.
The department did not disclose what Fisher allegedly did to violate probation or provide details about the underlying burglary case.
Following her arrest, Fisher appeared before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance.
She was then remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center.
Police said Fisher was being held without bond.
The probation violation allegation remains subject to court proceedings.
