San Francisco, CA – An Asian father was beaten and punched while walking his infant child in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood. A video released of the incident shows the man being beaten, punched more than a dozen times while defenseless on the ground. The suspect, 26-year-old Sidney Hammond was charged for the assault. Police say the attack was random and unprovoked.
The man who said to just call him, “Bruce” received treatment at the hospital for multiple lacerations. His 1-year-old baby was not harmed.
