17-year-old shot dead in Atlanta at Anderson pool

ATLANTA, GA – On Saturday, July 24, 2021, at around 6:40 pm officers responded to a report of a person shot at Anderson Pool 100 Anderson Ave NW. On scene, officers found a 17-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital but died of his wounds. The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim had been involved in a verbal dispute with another male which escalated to gunfire. Atlanta Police Homicide detectives are investigating.
