ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On August 2, 2021 at 1:35 am, patrol officers responded to the 1000 block of Brigantine Boulevard for a ShotSpotter alert. Responding officers located evidence of gunfire, but no victim. A short time later, a female victim, 16, of Atlantic City, arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division suffering from a gunshot wound. The injury is considered non-life-threatening. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Atlantic City Police Department Violent Crimes Unit at 609-347-5766.
