Jersey Shore restaurant featured in Sopranos Chevy Silverado EV Super Bowl commercial does not have a charging station

During Super Bowl LVI, Chevrolet ran a commercial showcasing their first-ever all-electric Silverado featuring a reunion between Meadow and A.J. Soprano that duplicated the intro to the hit HBO series The Sopranos. The commercial took place along the route familiar to Sopranos fans across North Jersey but ended up at the Jersey Shore.

After Meadow’s drive from Essex County south, she ended up at the famous Bahr’s Seafood restaurant in Highlands. In the series Barh’s could have been the ideal setting for an off-the-beaten-path family dinner at the shore, but one thing is certain, Meadow would not be able to charge her new Silverado there.

You see, Bahr’s doesn’t have electric charging stations. In fact the nearest charging station near Bahr’s is located about 5 miles south in nearby Red Bank, or in Meadow’s case, she might have been able to get a charge at Pine Belt Nissan of Keyport just off Exit 117.

As for the charging station in the commercial? Well, that was created by computer-generated graphics and it doesn’t exist at the hundred year-old restaurant that features stunning bayfront views overlooking Sandy Hook Gateway National Park.

The commercial ended with A.J. and Meadow sharing a sibling embrace…but doesn’t answer the most important question on everyone’s mind. Did Tony Soprano get whacked…and by who. If you really want to be a stickler about the commercial, Meadow probably made a wrong turn along the way or passed the restaurant as she comes to the restaurant heading west along Navesink Avenue. Maybe she just made a quick stop at the beach before meeting her brother.
