GLEN BURNIE, MD – Police did not say why he did it, but a Glen Burnie man was arrested after crashing his car into landscaping in front of a home on Leymar Road and then kicking in the front door of that home.

Police were called after the crash and arrived as the man kicked in a big enough hole to gain access into the home.

On Wednesday, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the 7800 block of Leymar Road in Glen Burnie for a crash where a male crashed into the shrubbery in front of a residence.

“As officers were responding, the victim advised that the male was kicking in the front door. Officers arrived as the suspect was entering the house through a hole he kicked in the door,” the Anne Arundel Police Department said in a statement. “The suspect was given verbal commands and was taken into custody. He was arrested and charged accordingly.”

David Lesniewski, 40, was arrested and charged.

Police also said this might not have been the only incident like that last night. Detectives are investigating several other calls in the area that evening for similar incidents.
