ALLENTOWN, PA – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and sustained ‘significant’ injuries on Wednesday, according to the Allentown Police Department.
At approximately 06:33 AM, officers responded to the area of 15th Street & Liberty Street for a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. Police and EMS rendered first aid to the pedestrian and began an accident investigation.
“The pedestrian, an adult male, sustained significant injuries and was transported via EMS to an area hospital where emergency medical care is still underway,” the department said.
No further information is being released at this time, the department stated.
