PHILADELPHIA, PA – A store manager at the Rite Aid on Dauphin Street in Philadelphia was held up at gunpoint and forced into a back room of the store to open the safe by armed robbers.
According to the Philadelphia Police, Department, on Friday, at 4:15 am, two unknown black males entered a Rite Aid store located at 2801 W. Dauphin Street armed with handguns and approached the assistant manager and ordered her into the office where they demanded she open the safe. After taking approximately $12,000 in cash from the safe the suspects fled the store.
One suspect was identified as a black male, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with red lettering on the front, black pants and black sneakers. The other was also a black male, wearing a dark Polo shirt, dark pants and black sneakers.
