HARTFORD, CT – Police in Hartford arrived on the scene to a puzzling three-vehicle crash on Thursday. One person was injured when a vehicle on I-84 failed to yield to slowing traffic, causing this bizarre pileup.
According to police, at approximately 7:21 AM, Troopers assigned to Troop H – Hartford responded to I-84 east, prior to Exit 41, in West Hartford, for a report of a three vehicle accident, in the left lane.
One person was treated for minor injuries.
Police said the operator of the trailing vehicle was issued a summons for following too closely.
