$5 million scratch-off lottery ticket sold in Miami Lakes

MIAMI LAKES, FL – A 53-year-old Miami Lakes woman won $5,000,000 from a lottery scratch off ticket this week.

Sonia Rodriguez Perez, 53, of Miami Lakes, claimed a $5 million top prize from the lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.

She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,960,00.00.

The ticket was sold at Fresco Y Màs, located at 6500 West 4th Avenue in Hialeah. The business will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
