CAPE MAY COUNTY, NEW JERSEY – Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland announced the arrest of 23-year-old Sebastian Ramagosa of North Wildwood for firearms offenses and possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances. On Tuesday, the Wildwood Crest Police Department received a tip that Ramagosa was in possession of a handgun, leading to a cooperative investigation with the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force.
A court-authorized search of Ramagosa’s vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately one pound of marijuana, 1,000 THC vape cartridges, and $12,000 in cash.
On Wednesday, a search warrant executed at his residence led to the discovery of a 9mm “ghost gun” pistol, two high-capacity 9mm magazines, drug paraphernalia, $802 in cash, and about 26 pounds of marijuana worth approximately $100,000.
Ramagosa is facing multiple charges, including first-degree possession with intent to distribute marijuana and second-degree possession of a firearm during a CDS violation. He is currently detained at the Cape May County Correctional Facility.
