MURPHY: We want to do this with some amount of MAJESTY!

While His Majesty was spending lavishly on himself, he was slashing aid to New Jersey schools.

Decorators were hired and teachers were fired.

“This lavish spending shows that Governor Murphy is royally out of touch,” said Senator Kristin Corrado (R-40). “He spent more on antique rugs and furniture to decorate his State House office than most people spend to buy a house. Your tax dollars at work!”

“While the governor enjoys his opulent furnishings, teachers are being fired, students are falling further behind, and property tax bills are rising,” said Senator Ed Durr (R-3). “It may look good in his office, but it’s not a good look for Governor Murphy.”
