JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Jersey City Police Department and Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit are investigating a hit-and-run incident that left a 35-year-old Jersey City resident severely injured on Monday.
The pedestrian was found at the intersection of Newark Avenue and Coles Street around 12:00 PM with severe injuries.
The victim was taken to the Jersey City Medical Center by Emergency Medical Services and is reported to be in critical but stable condition.
The offending driver did not remain at the scene.
