Investigation Underway Following Hartford Shooting

HARTFORD, CT – Hartford police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Albany Avenue last Wednesday morning.

According to the Hartford Police Department, officers were dispatched to the area of 701 Albany Ave. at approximately 7:57 a.m. following reports of gunfire. No victims were found at the scene, but a man in his 20s later arrived at St. Francis Hospital at around 9:40 a.m. with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions were called to the scene and are conducting the ongoing investigation. Anyone with information related to this case is encouraged to contact the Hartford Police Department Tip Line at 860-722-TIPS (8477).
