CAMDEN, NJ – Carl Lee Holloway, a 43-year-old man from Penns Grove, New Jersey, has been sentenced to 120 months in prison for conspiring to distribute cocaine. The sentence was announced on Wednesday, by U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger.
Holloway previously pleaded guilty before Chief U.S. District Judge Renée Marie Bumb to a charge of conspiring to distribute cocaine. The sentencing took place in Camden federal court.
Holloway admitted to conspiring with Lavinston Lamar, Marvin Murphy, and others to distribute cocaine between June 2020 and July 13, 2021. On the last mentioned date, Holloway was apprehended by undercover agents in a hotel in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
In addition to his prison term, Holloway has been sentenced to five years of supervised release and ordered to pay a $50,000 fine.
