UTICA, NY – On Sunday, at approximately 3:00 AM, Utica Police were dispatched to an apartment at 811 Court St following reports of a man with a large laceration to his back.
Despite a lack of cooperation from involved parties, it was determined that an escalating argument between the male victim and a female acquaintance led to the woman cutting the man with a knife.
The woman, identified as 31-year-old Tanishea Palmer of Utica, was subsequently charged with assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree following a detailed investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division.
