CAMBRIDGE, MD – Elijah Sanchez, recently arrested following an assault case, faced additional charges on Tuesday, July 31.
At approximately 9:05am, Cambridge Police Department Detectives presented him with a Criminal Summons regarding multiple financial charges.
This stems from a case on April 20, when a woman reported unauthorized transactions on a joint account she shared with her deceased daughter.
Detectives found that the day after her passing, a Cash App transfer was made to Sanchez, the deceased’s boyfriend.
He faces numerous charges including Fraud ID Info Theft and Theft Scheme.
