CHESAPEAKE, VA – A shooting incident in Chesapeake has left a 14-year-old dead and four others injured, as confirmed by the Chesapeake Police Department.
All victims were transported to local hospitals after the shooting on Saturday afternoon.
The 14-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries the following day, on Sunday. The other injured individuals include two male juveniles and two adult males.
The incident was reported shortly after 5 p.m. on Saturday when emergency dispatch received a call about gunshots in a residential area.
The investigation is ongoing, and the police department is offering a $1,500 reward for any tip leading to an arrest.
