ROCKVILLE, MD – Rockville City Police Department announced a Halloween-themed movie night on the lawn at Fallsgrove Park at Thomas Farm for this Friday. The event will feature a double movie screening, free pizza, popcorn and trunk or treating, starting at 6:00 p.m.

The department disclosed that the double feature will begin at 6:30 p.m., showcasing “The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” followed by “Hocus Pocus.” In addition to the movies, attendees can enjoy free pizza and popcorn, while supplies last.

Rockville City Police officers will participate in trunk or treating, an activity where children go from car to car in a safe environment to collect candy. Costumes are encouraged for attendees, and the department suggests bringing a blanket or a lawn chair for seating.

The event is open to the public and aims to foster community interaction with law enforcement in a relaxed setting. The announcement emphasizes that the weather for Friday is expected to be conducive for outdoor activities.
