Man Shoved Into Moving Train in NYC Subway Attack

NEW YORK CITY, NY – An encounter on a subway platform has prompted the New York City Police Department to request public assistance.

A 29-year-old man was assaulted on Tuesday, around 11:10 pm at the Church Avenue station.

The attacker punched the victim several times, causing him to fall and strike his head against a departing Q train.

The victim, now in stable condition, is being treated for a brain hemorrhage at NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County.

The NYPD has disseminated media of the suspect, who was last seen in a black ski mask and a blue ‘Rick and Morty’ jacket. Information about the suspect should be directed to the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline.
