New York City Police Department Seeks Assistance in Soundview Robbery Case

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is conducting an investigation into a robbery that occurred in the Soundview neighborhood.

On Sunday, December 24, 2023, at approximately 5:00 pm, a 50-year-old male was confronted by four unidentified individuals in front of 400 Soundview Avenue.

According to reports, the suspects, traveling in a dark-colored sedan, brandished a firearm and forcibly took the victim’s jewelry before fleeing the scene in their vehicle. The victim reported no physical injuries during the incident.

The suspects are described as four males of medium build. One was seen wearing a black and gray hoodie, gray pants, and white and dark-colored sneakers. Another was dressed in a red hoodie and red pants, with dark sneakers. The third and fourth individuals wore similar attire, with one also wearing black pants.

The New York City Police Department has released media related to the suspects and is requesting public assistance in identifying them. Anyone with information is asked to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
