Boston Police Department Requests Public Assistance in Armed Robbery Investigation

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Police Department is actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Roxbury.

On Sunday, at approximately 1:59 PM, an individual armed with a knife committed a robbery near 450 Melnea Cass Blvd.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a red winter hat with fur, a red plaid scarf, a black jacket, black pants, and black shoes. He was last seen crossing the parking lot, heading down Williams St, and turning right onto Washington St.

Detectives from District B-2 are leading the investigation and are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect. The community is asked to come forward with any information.
