Fugitive from Penn Hills Apprehended by Sheriff’s Detectives

by Breaking Local News Report

Pittsburgh, PA – Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus announced today the successful apprehension of a Penn Hills man, Trevon Boddy, who had been a fugitive since August of last year. Boddy, 24, was taken into custody earlier today at a residence in Penn Hills.

Boddy had previously pleaded guilty in August 2021 to carrying a firearm without a license. Subsequent to his plea, he was sentenced by Judge Evashavik-DiLucente to three years of probation. However, in August 2023, after failing to appear for a violation hearing, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office, acting on recently acquired intelligence, located Boddy at his mother’s residence along Pennwood Drive in Penn Hills. They executed the arrest earlier today without any incident.

Following his arrest, Boddy was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
