Handgun Seized Following Traffic Stop in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — On Wednesday at approximately 11:15 PM, detectives from the Northwest District Action Team conducted a traffic stop on the 3400 block of Calloway Avenue.

The involvement of K9 officers led to a detailed vehicle scan, detecting the presence of an object in the driver’s side door.

A comprehensive search of the vehicle ensued, revealing an automatic pistol in the driver-side door pocket. The 23-year-old driver was arrested and taken to the Central Booking and Intake Facility without any incidents.
