Manchester, NH – An 18-year-old Manchester man faces multiple charges after he overturned a portable toilet with a woman and child inside during an argument.

On May 8, 2024, Manchester Police received a distress call from a young mother reporting that she and her 4-year-old daughter were trapped inside a porta-potty at Derryfield Park. The incident occurred after a man pushed the toilet over, causing them to be covered in feces and bodily fluids.

Responding officers gathered statements from witnesses who reported that the man and woman had been arguing near the porta-potty. When the woman entered the toilet to assist her daughter, the man pushed it over, causing it to land door-side down on the pavement. Bystanders quickly came to their aid, righting the porta-potty and freeing the pair. Thankfully, the mother and child were unharmed, and it was determined that they did not know the suspect.
