Glen Burnie player among three to win $50K in Bonus Match 5 jackpot hit

Glen Burnie, MD – A local player from Glen Burnie is one of three lucky Marylanders to win $50,000 in Tuesday night’s Bonus Match 5 drawing, thanks to a ticket sold at Quarterfield Auto Service on Quarterfield Road.

The winning numbers drawn on Sept. 9 were 3, 6, 9, 18, and 27—each divisible by 3. The Bonus Ball was 25. To win the top prize, players must match the first five numbers exactly.

The Glen Burnie ticket joins two others sold in Bladensburg and Chevy Chase, respectively, bringing the total number of top-tier Bonus Match 5 winners this year to 32.

The game, which offers daily drawings, continues to be a favorite among Maryland Lottery players for its straightforward mechanics and fixed $50,000 prize for matching all five numbers.

The winner has 182 days from the drawing date to claim the prize. All wins over $25,000 must be claimed in person or by mail through Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. Appointments are required for in-person visits.
