A Sunday night ticket purchased on Sunrise Highway landed the drawing’s top prize

BALDWIN, NY – A TAKE 5 ticket sold at a Baldwin gas station hit the top prize in Sunday evening’s drawing, turning a purchase on Sunrise Highway into a $26,817 Lottery win.

The New York Lottery said Sunrise Fuel Group LLC, located at 820 Sunrise Highway in Baldwin, sold the winning ticket.

The ticket captured the top prize in the Sept. 13 TAKE 5 evening drawing.

The Lottery did not provide information about the person who purchased the ticket or whether the prize had been claimed.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of 1 through 39.

The game is drawn twice daily, with a midday drawing at 2:30 p.m. and an evening drawing at 10:30 p.m.

New York Lottery draw-game prizes can be claimed for up to one year from the date of the drawing.

The New York Lottery reported contributing $3.6 billion to public schools statewide during fiscal year 2025-2026.
