Man gunned down on Liberty Heights Avenue as police hunt for answers

Baltimore, MD — A late-night shooting in North Baltimore left a man wounded and sent detectives searching for clues along a busy city corridor.

Officers responded around 10:17 p.m. Thursday to the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue after receiving reports of gunfire.

At the scene, police located a 37-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition has not been disclosed.

Detectives from the Northern District are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No suspect information has been released.
