BALTIMORE, MD – A recent development has occurred in the investigation of a homicide that took place on May 6, 2024. Montay Brown, a 19-year-old, was arrested on Tuesday at around 2:30 p.m. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force and Eastern District Patrol.

The arrest is linked to the shooting death of a 33-year-old man earlier this month in the unit block of East 21st Street. Following his arrest, Brown was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with first-degree murder among other charges.

The initial incident was reported on May 6, when police were called to the scene at approximately 4:09 a.m. Upon arrival, they found the victim inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. Despite rapid medical response, the victim was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.
