TOMS RIVER – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County holds its 16th Bowl for Kids’ Sake at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 28 at the Playdrome in Toms River and at noon March 6 at Thunderbird Lanes in Manahawkin.
“About 200 bowlers participate in this event each year,” said CEO Sue Sedivec. “Participants don’t have to be good bowlers, they just want to have fun and help Ocean County kids.”
Each bowler is asked to pledge a minimum $50 donation that they collect from family and friends, co-workers and others. The money raised benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters’ one-on-one youth mentoring programs.
