Boston, MA – Officers with the Boston Police Department recovered a loaded firearm and multiple packages of suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine Friday morning during an investigation in the area of Albany Street near the Mass and Cass corridor. Two men were taken into custody as part of the city’s ongoing effort to address drug activity and related public safety concerns in the neighborhood.

At approximately 10:07 a.m. on January 23, members of the Neighborhood Engagement Safety Team observed what appeared to be a street-level narcotics transaction outside a nearby property at 774 Albany Street. Officers stopped one of the suspects, identified as 25-year-old Luis Martinez Agramonte of Dorchester, who attempted to flee on an electric bicycle.

A search revealed 12 individually packaged bags of suspected crack cocaine and seven bags containing a crack cocaine–fentanyl mixture, along with a “ghost gun” loaded with 9mm ammunition found in his jacket. Detectives also seized cash believed to be connected to drug activity.

A second suspect, 46-year-old Keith Bradford of Dorchester, was found nearby and taken into custody after officers discovered additional suspected crack cocaine in his possession.
