Security guard stabbed and sprayed in Bronx clinic attack as suspects flee in SUV
Bronx, NY — A violent confrontation inside a Bronx urgent care center left a security guard stabbed and assaulted as two suspects fled the scene, prompting a public search by police.
The attack happened around 2:30 p.m. April 14 inside a CityMD Urgent Care on East 170th Street within the 44th Precinct.
Police said two unidentified individuals got into a verbal dispute with a 21-year-old security guard before escalating the situation. The suspects allegedly stabbed the victim in the back with a sharp metal object, sprayed him in the face with pepper spray, and then punched and kicked him.
The suspects fled the location in a white Kia SUV in an unknown direction.
The victim’s condition has not been disclosed.
Authorities have released details of the incident and are asking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible.
