Bronx ticket hits TAKE 5 top prize in late night drawing
Bronx, NY — A TAKE 5 ticket sold on Jerome Avenue turned into a five-figure payout after matching all numbers in the New York Lottery’s evening drawing, adding another top-prize win to the borough’s tally.
The New York Lottery announced that a winning ticket for the April 14 TAKE 5 evening drawing was sold at AMG Retail I LLC AMG #190, located at 2350 Jerome Avenue in the Bronx. The ticket matched all five numbers drawn, securing a prize of $15,478.
TAKE 5 numbers are selected from a field of one through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Winners of TAKE 5 prizes have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their winnings.
The New York Lottery reported it remains the largest and most profitable lottery in North America, contributing $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2024-2025 to support public schools across the state.
