The program, which stands for Direct Appeal to Support Homelessness, saw overwhelming support last year as residents filled donation boxes with essential supplies. Organizers say the need has only grown, with homelessness in Bucks County climbing higher than last year’s already steep numbers. Donations can be dropped off during business hours at the Middletown Township building, where a collection box is stationed inside the main entrance.

Cramp, who devoted years to connecting the homeless with resources and guidance, passed away on April 3 after a lifetime of service. His personal experiences with homelessness fueled his commitment to helping others, leaving behind what community leaders describe as a lasting legacy of compassion.

By dedicating this year’s campaign in his name, participating departments say Christopher Cramp’s Project DASH will continue reaching those most in need across Lower Bucks County, ensuring that his mission lives on through the work of volunteers and donors.

The call for help is out, and Bucks County is answering.
