Burglary suspect sought after two break-ins on North East Street in Frederick

FREDERICK, MD – A man caught on surveillance footage is being sought for questioning after two reported burglaries just hours apart along North East Street in Frederick, prompting a citywide alert from local police.

The first incident occurred on Thursday, October 24, around 7:27 a.m., when officers responded to the 100 block of N. East Street for a reported burglary. Less than 24 hours later, on Friday at approximately 12:16 a.m., officers were again called to the same area—this time to the unit block—for a burglary in progress.

Detective McPeak is leading the investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Frederick Police Department directly. Community members are advised not to approach the individual if spotted.
