Cambridge Woman Arrested for Throwing Bricks At Cop Cars in Downtown Boston

BOSTON, MA—Christine Ann Oliveira, 46, of Cambridge, was arrested by Boston Police on vandalism and assault charges following an incident outside the District A-1 station in downtown Boston.

The event occurred at approximately 1:13 PM on Friday, when police were alerted to a female suspect damaging parked police cruisers with bricks. Upon exiting the station, officers witnessed Oliveira holding a brick and refusing to comply with orders to drop it. Further inspection revealed significant damage to two unmarked Boston Police vehicles, including smashed windows. Oliveira faces charges of Malicious Destruction of Property over $1,200, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.

Following her arrest, Oliveira was arraigned at Boston Municipal Court.
