Cinnaminson Police Release Body Cam Footage of Ian Smith DUI Traffic Stop

CINNAMINSON, NJ – The Cinnaminson Police Department has released the dashcam and bodycam footage of the DUI arrest of New Jersey Republican candidate for Congress, Ian Smith. According to the videos, police notified Smith that he was swerving while he was driving and performed poorly on the roadside sobriety test.

Smith refused to take a breathalyzer test during the engagement with officers.

Smith, a candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s Third Congressional District, is the owner of Atilis Gym, the business that openly defied Governor Phil Murphy’s draconian COVID-19 executive lockdown order in the spring of 2020. He has a previous DUI and manslaughter conviction and has served 5 years in prison for that conviction.

The first video released to Shore News Network by the Cinnaminson Police Department shows a police officer trailing Smith while driving his truck. The videos are provided as is, without editorial commentary.

The second video show Smith’s field sobriety test.
