In addition to the phone line, the city is providing updates through their website, www.hvlnc.gov/helene. On Wednesday, Mayor Barbara Volk was reported to be personally involved in addressing calls from the public, highlighting the city’s dedication to customer service.

The communication issues that impacted services were addressed with assistance from the Henderson County Government. The city expressed gratitude for the county’s support, particularly during the critical recovery phase following the impact of Helene.
