The first incident took place on Saturday, Oct. 12, at around midnight near 385 East Fordham Road. Police said a 35-year-old man was approached by two suspects who displayed a firearm, struck him in the head, and forcibly removed about $19,000 worth of jewelry, $300 in cash, and other personal property. The suspects fled northbound on Decatur Avenue on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.

In a second incident on Saturday, Oct. 26, at approximately 4:40 a.m., a 22-year-old man was outside 160 West Kingsbridge Road when two individuals with a firearm approached, hit him in the head, and stole approximately $14,500 in jewelry and other items.
