DALLAS, TX – On Sunday, July 25, 2021, at approximately 8:48 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 1700 block of Chestnut Street. Upon arrival, officers found an unknown black male unresponsive in a homeless encampment with a gunshot wound to his left bicep. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.
