MILTON, Del. — Delaware State Police are investigating an early Saturday morning armed robbery in Milton involving two suspects impersonating federal immigration officers.

The incident occurred around 1:56 a.m. on June 28 along Burton Road near Sand Hill Road. According to state police, the victim pulled over after an unknown vehicle behind him flashed red and white lights. Two masked men, both wearing vests labeled “ICE,” then approached the victim.

One suspect, armed with a knife, removed the victim from his vehicle while the other pointed a firearm at him. The suspect with the knife reportedly pressed the weapon into the victim’s side before stealing his wallet and punching him in the face. The suspects then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
