BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – Brick Township Mayor John Ducey defeated Republican challenger for mayor Theresa Gallagher Tuesday night by a 63% to 37% margin. Ducey will begin his third term as mayor in the Democrat-controlled town that has more Republican voters than his own party in January.

Republican council candidate Perry Albanese was the top vote getter for township council and appears to have won their bid for office, but the rest of the pack is too close to call.
