Downtown Toms River’s popular Downtown Night Out program is back, bringing outdoor dining, themed events, and a vibrant atmosphere to Main Street every Friday and Saturday evening through October.
Residents and visitors can once again enjoy dining under the stars as Downtown Night Out returns to Toms River for the season. The popular weekly event runs every Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. through October 17, transforming the downtown district into a destination for outdoor dining, shopping, and entertainment.
Hosted by Downtown Toms River, the program encourages guests to explore the area’s restaurants while enjoying special themed nights scheduled throughout the season.
Downtown Restaurants Welcome Diners
Downtown Toms River features a diverse mix of restaurants offering everything from waterfront dining and barbecue to international cuisine and coffee shops.
Visitors can choose from local favorites including Water Street Bar & Grille along the riverfront, Smokies Craft BBQ on Main Street, Ellie’s Indian Curry Corner, Taco Tastic, and Capone’s Gourmet Pizza & Pasta. Those looking for a more traditional experience can visit Mathis House at 600 Main for tea and light fare, while Spire Coffee House offers artisan coffee and café selections.
The weekend dining program has become one of the downtown district’s signature events, drawing residents and visitors throughout the summer and fall.
Special Theme Nights Planned
Several themed evenings are planned during the season, including Princess Party on August 8, Local Summer on September 5, Family Fun Night on September 26, Flannel Fest on October 9, and Howl-O-Ween on October 10.
