Dover Man Charged with Murder After Early Morning Shooting

DOVER, DE – The Dover Police Department has apprehended 23-year-old Sadique Ingram on murder charges following a deadly shooting. The incident occurred early Sunday morning on the 100 Block of West Loockerman Street.

Police were alerted to the shooting at approximately 1:26 AM near Irish Mike’s. Upon arrival, officers found two victims: 25-year-old Syncere Friends of Dover, who had suffered a gunshot wound to his chest, and a 30-year-old woman from Magnolia, who was shot in the lower body. Both were rushed to Bayhealth Kent Campus for treatment, where Friends tragically succumbed to his injuries.

Following an investigation, Sadique Ingram was identified and subsequently arrested during a traffic stop in Milford, Delaware. He was processed and arraigned at the Dover Police Department.
