Harford County deputies find two victims in separate locations during Edgewood shooting

Edgewood, MD – A late-night shooting in Edgewood left one man dead and another injured, with deputies discovering victims in two separate locations within minutes of each other. The incident unfolded just after 11:15 p.m. Friday, prompting a rapid response from Harford County Sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct were dispatched to the area of Grempler Way and Brookside Drive for reports of gunfire. Authorities said deputies arrived in less than a minute and located a 22-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder and neck.

Second victim found in roadway

While assisting the first victim, deputies received information about another घायल individual nearby. “During this time, Deputies were informed of an additional victim lying in the roadway in the 1900 block of Eloise Lane,” the Harford County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies located a 20-year-old male who was not conscious or breathing and suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. “EMS personnel took over care, however, later pronounced the victim deceased on scene,” officials said. The victim was identified as Bryan H. Burrows Jr. of Edgewood.

Investigation ongoing, incident believed isolated

The injured 22-year-old was treated at the scene and transported by EMS to a Baltimore-area trauma center. “Deputies immediately rendered medical aid and stabilized the victim,” the agency said.

Investigators noted that those involved were known to each other and that the shooting does not appear to be random. “The parties involved are known to each other. This is believed to be an isolated incident,” the sheriff’s office stated.

The investigation is being handled by detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division along with the Forensic Services Unit. Authorities say the case remains active and ongoing.
