LOTHIAN, MD – A fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian took place on northbound Route 4 near Lower Pindell Road in Lothian on Sunday, at around 11:00 p.m.
The deceased, Aubrey Lee Wallace, a 74-year-old from Owings, Maryland, was discovered in the roadway by a passerby who immediately called 911.
The striking vehicle, a 2016 Chevy Malibu, fled the scene but was later found unoccupied.
The driver, a 22-year-old from Landover, Maryland, was located by the Prince George’s County Police Department.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Traffic Safety Section is currently investigating this case and asked anyone with information to contact them at 410-222-4700.
