EVESHAM, NJ – On Saturday, at 10:21 PM, the Evesham Police Department was alerted to a robbery at Mikado Japanese Sushi & Steak House on 793 East Route 70.
The investigation revealed that a male suspect, donning a gas mask, entered the establishment after hours. The assailant used pepper spray on the victim, restrained her, and then proceeded to steal an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
The victim was later found by a colleague and received medical treatment at Virtua Hospital.
A similar incident transpired in Medford Township on September 19. The suspect in that case wore all black and used bear spray on the victim before robbing him.
A vehicle seen near the Medford robbery might be linked to the suspect. The Evesham Police Department is urging anyone with relevant information to contact them at 856-983-1116 or through their confidential tip line at 856-983-4699.
