Toms River, NJ – The Pleasant Plains Fire Department swiftly responded to a fire report at the North Pointe Hollow condominium complex early Sunday. The situation quickly advanced to a structure fire discovered in a first-floor unit bathroom.

Multiple fire companies worked for around two hours to contain the blaze within the unit, overcoming challenges posed by hoarding/storage conditions. Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention officers Carlin and Herbst are investigating the fire’s cause, with initial reports pointing to an accidental origin involving a small electronic device charging in the bathroom.

Residents are advised to follow fire safety protocols, especially regarding the proper storage and use of electronic devices. The Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention assures the community of continued efforts to maintain safety standards and a thorough investigation into the incident.
